Hello again, blog.
Since my last blog was left on an unhappy note, I thought it would be a good idea to update with things that make my day a little brighter (aswell as a few things that make me grrrrr-mad!).
Yes, we had the water guys come out and tell me I can't get my filters yet. Yes, I kinda went a little crazy-upset-sad. But all is good now. We've come to an alternate bandaid for my water system. Requires me buying another tank and such... but after this is through, I'll have the best, tastiest and most high pressured water in town (next to the fire hydrants, of course. :] ) Besides! I don't have all my renovations done yet. :D So this gives me ample time.
Yes! We got a brand new Nintendo Wii. We bought multiple games for it aswell - and we bought DDR Universe 3 for Xbox 360. Needless to say, I've been keeping active. :P ;)
Lately on the Wii, we've been playing Wii Sports - Tennis/Bowling and Baseball.. and Harvest Moon; Tree of Tranquility. It's an amazing game! And considering I have all the other Harvest Moon games, it's a great addition to the collection.
Lately, we've just been taking it easy. The snow came down again today so we couldn't go out and put in resumes for me. I still haven't gotten in to drop off a resume to that lady my cousin mentioned me to - hopefully if the weather isn't bad tomorrow, we can do that.
I took my boys to the vet on wednesday the 18th. It took us all of 5 minutes in there to get their shots done! >| The drive was 20 minutes and a bit.. so it seemed silly to take them all that way for 5 lousy minutes! But they're cheap and friendly - so we picked their office. :P Fiddler, we have concluded - is deaf. Poor little guy! We initially wondered why he was so docile all the time... never responded to vocal stimuli or the like - he mimics his brother.. so it was hard to tell the first few days. But most definatly.. he is deaf. Really, there's no difference between a deaf ferret and one that can hear (Aside from the hearing part!) - as long as they eat healthy, get plenty of exercise like their playmates and you make them aware of your presence ahead of time before playing (so you don't scare them) - they're like any normal ferret. Deafness in ferret's is actually a very common situation; for more info on this and any other related things - google it! :)
Aside from all of that, though - We've been rather well with things.
And so that concludes my newly updated update on updated things.
